Role Description The Front Desk Agent – Part Time role is an on-site position based in San Diego, CA, responsible for managing day-to-day guest interactions at the hotel’s front desk. This role includes greeting guests, handling check-in and check-out procedures, managing room reservations, and answering phone calls and guest inquiries. The Front Desk Agent maintains accurate records, processes payments, and provides information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. The role also involves coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and services meet guest expectations. Although part time, the position may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts to support continuous front desk coverage.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in receptionist duties and front desk operations, such as check-in/check-out, handling inquiries, and maintaining guest records.
• Effective phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to handle calls, messages, and guest requests clearly and courteously.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort using hotel property management software and common office applications.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliability in working scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Prior front desk, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
