Tax Manager

Our Tax Managers work closely with business owners, individuals, and firm leadership, providing both compliance and strategic tax guidance throughout the year.

You will:

\n
• Oversee tax engagements from planning through completion
\n
• Review federal and state tax returns for individuals and closely held businesses
\n
• Work with partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and other pass-through entities
\n
• Identify tax-saving strategies and provide year-round planning guidance
\n
• Advise business owners on entity structures, transactions, and other tax-related decisions
\n
• Address multi-state and state and local tax (SALT) considerations
\n
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients through regular advisory discussions
\n
• Manage engagement timelines, budgets, workflow, and client expectations
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and enhance client service
\n
• Train, mentor, and provide feedback to tax staff and senior-level team members
\n
• Partner with firm leadership on complex client needs and business opportunities
\n

Required:

\n
• 5+ years of tax experience in public accounting
\n
• Active CPA or EA credential
\n
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or a related field
\n
• Strong understanding of federal taxation and current tax regulations
\n
• Experience reviewing business and individual tax returns
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing client engagements
\n
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
\n
