About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Greensboro, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients with diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out Myocardial Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
Manage patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD, Pneumonia, and Respiratory Failure
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
Complete unit-based orientation modules during the onboarding period
Pass a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed) prior to or during onboarding

Required Qualifications

Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Cardiac telemetry experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Valid, current driver's license required
No open background check cases permitted
Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience caring for patients with NSTEMI, Heart Failure, or Respiratory Failure in a stepdown or PCU setting
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
