This full-time Welder / Fabricator opportunity offers consistent overtime and the chance to earn $1,200+ per week when available hours are worked. You'll join a skilled fabrication team working on large-scale steel projects while putting your experience to work in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do as a Structural Welder / Fitter: - Weld structural steel components including beams, plates, channels, angles, and other steel parts using FCAW, MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, and SMAW (Stick) processes.
- Perform primarily horizontal-position welding, including fillet, lap, and butt welds, while meeting quality specifications.
- Read blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions to determine proper weld placement, size, and sequence.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate settings, electrodes, and materials to produce strong, quality welds.
- Fit, assemble, grind, clean, and prepare steel components before and after welding using hand tools, power tools, clamps, fixtures, and measuring tools.
- Safely move and position materials using hoists and overhead cranes. (Crane training is provided after six months.)
- Inspect work and materials for defects, identify equipment issues, and report concerns as needed.
- Mark completed pieces, move materials to the next work area, and maintain basic job time and production records.
- Keep your equipment and work area clean, organized, and safe while meeting company quality and safety standards.
- Successfully pass required Structural Welding, Stick Welding, and Tape Measure Tests prior to placement.
Skills and Experience What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate: - 1-3 years of structural welding experience, with three years preferred.
- Proficiency in FCAW (Flux Core), MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, and SMAW (Stick) welding processes.
- Ability to successfully pass required Structural Welding, Stick Welding, and Tape Measure Tests.
- Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols and accurately use measuring tools.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, clamps, fixtures, and welding/fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive work throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds continuously and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Willingness to work significant overtime, including weekends, as needed.
- Previous overhead crane experience is a plus; required training is provided before independent operation.
- Steel toe boots are required. All other PPE is provided, and be sure to ask about our steel toe boot discount program.
